This copper vessel by metal artist Ren Nakane is shaped entirely by hand from a single sheet of copper, carefully hammered and raised into form, strike by strike.

Its bold, unrefined beauty, with the natural irregularities and distinctive hammer marks intentionally left visible, speaks to the entirely handmade process behind its creation. Every stage is carried out by hand, allowing the marks of the maker to remain an integral part of the piece.

There is no single way to use it.
As a vase, or simply as a vessel.
Or perhaps as a quiet place to keep something precious.

*This product is delivered in its natural, uncoated copper finish. Before first use, wash it with a mild, neutral detergent.

When first used, the surface may develop uneven coloration from handling. As the protective patina gradually develops through repeated use, the surface will settle into a rich, deep finish. Please enjoy the natural changes in appearance over time.

*Due to the characteristics of the material, this product is not suitable for storing food or beverages, especially acidic foods or drinks.

*This product is designed for use over a direct flame only. Do not use on an induction (IH) cooktop.

Avoid sudden cooling, such as placing the heated product directly into water, as this may cause the product to warp.

During use, heat is transferred throughout the entire product due to copper's excellent thermal conductivity. Please take great care to avoid burns.

If the temperature of the product exceeds 200°C (392°F), the copper itself may soften and the tin coating may melt. Never leave the product empty over heat for an extended period of time.
